Equipment Overview

The system consists of a vacuum induction melting furnace, heated tundish, heated flow-control and delivery system, primary high-speed quenching wheel, secondary quenching surface, crusher, classifier, protective gas supply and control system, water cooling system, vacuum system, and electrical control system.

Under an argon (Ar) atmosphere, molten metal is sprayed onto a high-speed rotating cooling wheel under controlled process conditions. A secondary rapid-quenching process enables the production of amorphous alloy powders.

The equipment is currently available for 200 kg, 300 kg, and 500 kg-class powder production.

Key Features and Advantages

This rapid-quenching amorphous powder production line was developed through technical cooperation with Japan, bringing advanced production technology and high-quality equipment to domestic customers. Key technical features include:

1.Vacuum Pressure: Reaches the 10³ Pa range with the test material and nozzle loaded inside the system.

2.Leak Rate: Below 10 Pa·m³/s.

3.Spray Pressure: Maximum 0.1 MPa.

4.Melting Capacity: 5–500 kg per batch, calculated based on iron density.

5.Maximum Heating Temperature: 1700°C.

6.Typical Operating Temperature: 1500°C.

7.Cooling Wheel Speed: 100–4000 rpm.

Technical Parameters

Power Supply: Three-phase, 220 V, 13 kVA. A transformer must be provided by the customer.

Cooling Water:

-Flow Rate: 25 L/min

-Water Pressure: 0.35 MPa

-Back Pressure: Below 0.1 MPa

Inert Gas (Ar):

-Purge Volume: 100 L per cycle

-Pressure: 0.5 MPa
